Māori Language Resources

There are a wide range of quality Māori Language resources available on the Internet.  You will see below an ever changing list of links to some of the best websites and resources we know of.  We don’t inlcude everything here, but rather a selection of high quality resources we think can assist with learning Māori.

Kōrero Māori
The Kōrero Māori website has been developed by Te Taura Whiri i te reo Māori – the Māori Language Commission – in order to raise awareness about the Māori language by increasing opportunities for people to learn and use it.  Because it is a bit old it may not display on tablets and mobiles that well.  However it has some great content on there for learners.

Te Whanake
Te Whanake is a website, set of textbooks, study guides, CDs, teachers’ manuals and a dictionary for learning and teaching Māori language. Once again the website does not display that well on tablets and mobiles but it has some great learning resources.
